Little Friends Enrollment Ceremony 2022

A scheme for girl guides was published on 10th April, 1910 and the Girl Guide Association was formed in UK with Baden Powell’s sister Agnes as the first president then later the little friends for very young and enthusiastic little girls. They were molded into camping, team work, leadership pioneering stalking and orienteering to prepare them when they were older. In 1918, the Ceylon branch was formed by Mrs. R.W. Byrde as the chief commissioner.
30th of March 2022, we were also able to enroll a new batch of little friends at Holy Cross College Gampaha, consisting 42 young and energetic crossians with the patronage of Rev. Sr. M. Dharshika, the principal.
