A Glorious International Achievement by the Daughters of the Holy Cross

The Daughters of the Holy Cross have brought immense pride and honour to Holy Cross College, Gampaha, and to our motherland by securing Third Place in the Under-18 category at the 32nd USM PESTA BOLA JARING – PENANG INTERNATIONAL NETBALL TOURNAMENT 2026, held in Malaysia from 16th to 18th October 2026.

Competing against more than 100 teams at this prestigious international tournament, our team achieved the remarkable distinction of being the only school team representing Sri Lanka to secure a place among the winners.

This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to the players' dedication, determination, teamwork and sporting excellence. Their success on the international stage reflects the true spirit of perseverance, discipline and the pursuit of excellence that we proudly uphold at Holy Cross College.

Heartiest congratulations to our talented Daughters of the Holy Cross, their coaches and everyone who supported them on this remarkable journey. You have made your school and your country proud.
