🇱🇰 Celebrating Sri Lanka’s 77th Independence Day at Holy Cross College, Gampaha 🇱🇰
Holy Cross College, Gampaha, proudly celebrated the *77th Independence Day of Sri Lanka* on 5th February 2025 with a special ceremony that honored the nation’s rich heritage and unity.
The event began with a Holy Mass officiated by *Rev. Fr. Subhash Fernando, the Chaplain of Lisieux Convent* , invoking blessings for our country and its people.
Adding to the grandeur of the occasion, cultural performances and special presentations showcased *the unity of Sri Lanka’s multicultural society,* emphasizing the spirit of peace and harmony among all communities. The vibrant performances reflected the essence of togetherness and national pride.
The event was graced by the presence of *Rev. Sr. Nuwanthi, the Principal; Rev. Sr. Nisansala, the Superior of Lisieux Convent; Deputy Principal Rev. Sr. Subhasiri, along with all reverent sisters, teachers, and students.*
