On the 21st of August, representing the Science Union of Holy Cross College Gampaha, four board members took part in the 2nd installation ceremony of the All Island Schools Science Association (AISSA) 2024, which was held at the Lotus Tower, Colombo.

 

During that prestigious event, our school’s Science Society was recognised as one of the top 10 most popular science societies in the country, earning a trophy. 

 

For this remarkable achievement, the voting campaign raised by "AISSA Award 2024 for the most popular science union" magnificently uplifted us. Moreover, the participation of our students in scientific research and scientific competitions held during the year 2023/24 was highly considered.

 

This achievement highlights our school’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and growing involvement in the scientific community, as well as the dedication of our students and teachers in promoting scientific knowledge and curiosity within the school community.
