The May Novina was magnificently celebrated on 30th May 2025 at Holy Cross College, Gampaha, marking the grand culmination of a month-long spiritual devotion. The sacred observance commenced with the Rosary and prayer, followed by a Holy Mass honoring the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Lakshan OMI and Rev. Fr. Subash OMI. Following the Mass, a solemn procession carrying a statue of the Blessed Mother began from the primary section and gracefully made its way around the school grounds, enveloping the atmosphere in deep reverence. The celebration concluded with Rev. Sister Nuwanthi, the Principal, dedicating the school to the Blessed Mother—a profound act of faith and devotion. Adding to the beauty of the occasion, young girls from the primary section stepped forward to present various representations of the Blessed Mother, enriching the event with a heartfelt tribute to her enduring grace and presence.
